Our vision
The vision is to make exclusive designs which can last forever & create social impact through the collab with ESG Fabrikken which is responsible for all non-commercial activities.
The first collection which was introduced in 2023 is handmade in genuine brass so they age with beauty and grace and can be passed on to next generations to support a more sustainable lifestyle.
The name Rebello Decor has been inspired by the name rebel since Maria had to find her inner rebel and not least courage to start her own design brand, she even had to sell her house to raise capital.
The chandelier Cirle of Life won Bo Bedres Design Favourite Award 2023 for best chandelier.
The design is inspired by the ups and downs we all meet in life - but somehow the ends always meet. The design is also an invitation to talk about the harder things we meet in life - and Maria has eg. been very open about her sons autism diagnosis.
The team behind Rebello Decor
Maria Thygesen is the Founder of Rebello Decor. She had a professionel carrier in finance for 17 years and has worked for top banks such as Nordea and Danske Bank - latest she was Marketing Manager in Nykredit with the responsibility of Corporates & Institutions, Private Banking and Business Banking. In 2019 she became an entrepreneur because she wanted to more freedom in her life. Her passion is design, so she began her first company which invested in real estate with the purpose of making a redesign.
Nicklass Døssing Rasmussen is Chairman of the Board. He is former ESG Executive, Director of Supply chain and Director of global quality at Louis Poulsen. He has lived in US as well as China for several years and has extensive senior executive experience within business development, R&D, sourcing, production, and quality leadership. Nicklass has a background as COO of Lyfa and is still Co-owner.
Tilde Rasmussen has been appointed as COO. She has also worked at Louis Poulsen handling sales operations planning tasks and has solid experience from the fashion industry within sales, production, logistics and project coordination. Tilde is educated in HR and coaching and has great leadership skills and will also be responsible for our new headquarter in Aarup, Funen.
